Here's another rip of new Fear Factory, and this time a proper one. A short look on the bitrates is enough to see that this proper is indeed needed. Ouzo's bitrates are like 50-60 kbps lower then this rip. If you have the ouzo rip, I suggest to get this rip, the difference in the bitrates is really audible. Limited Edition comes with a bonus track.

Fear_Factory-Mechanize-2010-Ouzo [Nuked]

After 5 years of absence from the scene comes the new Fear Factory record, 2 weeks in advance. It's a a shame that no metalgroup could get their hands on this big CD first, but I've already seen this Ouzo rip gettin nuked for being a reencode, so maybe there will be another rip out. If you don't care, this release should still be listenable in terms of quality.

I don't believe that FF are able to deliver a good sound again, but still, it's a big release and one might as well give it a listen.

Now all we need is a leak of the new Overkill record, which will be out early february, to have the best of early 2010 out ;)

Mastodon-Crack_The_Skye-2009-VAG

Mastodon are back with their 5th new full-length.
Reviewers on both pages, MA and Rym, seem to like it very much, and so do I. It's not as confusing and wild as the last record was, but that doesn't matter in my opinion. The songs however improved since 'Blood Mountain'. I think it's well-worth a try for all Mastodon fans as well as for people who didn't like Mastodon's previous work.

There's one other thing that I have to write about. I'm back after month's of blogger-abstinence and hell yeah I missed to post here.. my time was so limited this year. Thanks to you all for being patient with the blog and for coming back here even without much updates. Also thanks to Andrej for many great posts and for keeping the blog so well updated. I'm goint to do some more work here the next days, so more posts and updates on the blog to come. The Nfo's for the appropriate next releases will be on again, too. :)
