Austrian_Death_Machine-Total_Brutal-(Advance)-2008-FNT

Missed to post this, it's some days older now, however, Austrian Death Machine is the new band of 'As I Lay Dying' Vocalist Tim Lambesis. It's a bit harder then 'AILD', but what really is annoying on this record are the dull nonsense trash talk skits that are present on alot of Tracks. Drab Metalcore on the rest of the record, which isn't that superior, either...
However, some Guitarsolo's have pleased me, so if you are in lust for some Metalcore or are a big 'Lay Dying' Fan, get it, otherwise, I wouldn't recommend you to do so.

Some Deathcore, dunno if this is good, however, the name 'Whitechapel' comes from the English city of Whitechapel, the location of the Jack the Ripper murders. Hail_Of_Bullets-Of_Frost_And_War-2008-HAiLOFBULLETS

Some random group has released the debut record of Dutch Death Metal hopefuls Hail of Bullets, entitled ...Of Frost and War. The Band consists of members from several infamous Dutch Death Metal bands (like Pestilence, Asphyx, Thanatos or Gorefest). They´ve created a concept album about the "Operation Barbarossa", the offensive of Nazi Germany against Sowjet Russia in 1941 - 1945, and the struggle of the Russian army against the Nazi invaders (e.g. in the battle of Stalingrad).
Musicwise we get a mixture of swedish Death Metal Bands like Dismember and more doomy, mid-tempo, parts of Asphyx making ...Of Frost and War a very consistent and raw old school Death Metal record.

If you dig this sound and like historical concepts, as much as I do, you´ll have to get hands on this record.

metalcore band 'Cataract'.

Nothing that special about this bonus cd, coversongs from
various other bands like sepultura, obituary, slayer...
Blitzkrieg Bop from Ramones made it on the cd, too, if that's
not a reason to get this...
