Vektor-Black_Future-2009-NOiR

Hell, what a day for a metal head this was, with some great BERC rels. But this one might be the best of what has been released today. These Vektor guys really hail those oldschool thrash metal bands like Voivod or Watchtower, without ripping them off. They play some really good technical thrash, you should definitely give 'em a try. Haven't heard more then their myspace tracks, but they seriously kicked some ass. It's already #7 on rateyourmusic for 2009, which is quite impressive. Listen to them now, if you haven't had the pleasure yet!

Ihsahn-After-2010-BERC

Maybe the biggest hit from BERC today, and the release most of you are waiting for. It's Ihsahns lates effort. Listened to a couple of tracks so far, it seems pretty good on a first listen, provided you like this guy at all.
Frequent use of wind section instruments. I'm not that much in common with his former stuff, so I don't know if he did that before. Some days pre-store, so get it when it's out next week!

Shining-Blackjazz-2010-BERC

No, not the Shining from sweden, I thought so, too. MA doesn't even list those Shinings from Norway, so i'm gonna make this short. RYM lists this as Progressive Rock/Progressive Metal, Jazz Fusion, Experimental Rock. Use google if you need more infos. I didn't really find this band fascinating, so see this just as a small notice that it isn't the Black Metal band.

In_Vain-Mantra-2010-BERC

BERC released a couple of stuff today, the first one should please fans of opeth and other progressive death metal bands, though it's much more experimental. Sound quality isn't the best (concerning the studio sound, not the rip), but the music is quite good.
