"Debut album from portuguese metalheads Echidna. Recommended if you like Arch
Enemy, The Haunted and Soilwork. The portuguese Death/Thrash album of 2008!
..The album was recorded and edited once again at Fbrica de Som studios with Daniel Carvalho, and mixed and mastered by Daniel Cardoso at Ultra Sound Studios. By the end of January 2008, the album was ready and it took another 4 months until Echidna managed to sign with Portuguese lable Rastilho Records."

I was kind of busy last days, so this release is some days older by now. However, for all of you that missed this, too, 35 minutes of new Walls Of Jericho shit awaits you on their new full-length album. I really don't care about this band, so I don't really want to know what the 'American Dream' sounds like, but if you like this band,
you'll want to get it.

New Isis cdm, which hXc accidently forget to tag. Many of you Isis fans out there will already have this, i guess, as it's in stores since february. This may not be the exact frontcover, however it's the cover of the 'Holy Tears' EP, which was pretty similar to this one. Only difference between those two EP's was that apparently this one has the b-side called 'Not In Rivers, But In Drops' on it, besides the typical cdm shit like a remix and a live version.

Into Eternity-The_Incurable_Tragedy-Promo-2008-AMRC

"Fusing elements from across the spectrum of metal, including classic or melodic metal styling, thrashing riffs, power metal style clean vocals, high and low-pitched harsh vocals drawn from death and black metal, and fast tempoed death metal drumming with blast beats, Into Eternity provides a sound that is rather difficult to describe. The most common description of Into Eternity's music is progressive death metal."

"I have some really exciting songs. I was working with Marc Rizzo, my guitar player. We get along great and love a lot of the same stuff. Bands like early Sepultura, Slayer, Destruction. We also like a lot of grindcore like Napalm Death and Bolt Thrower. We have been writing some stuff like that. We also have some material with a Soulfly vibe and the Soulfly grooves. One thing I like about Soulfly is we have the grooves in between the heavy parts. There are no names yet. I have been joking though as the new material makes Dark Ages sound like a pop album. This new stuff is pretty heavy.
