New Burzum out thanks to Berc, who else? ;) Great pre-store release. Hits the stores in some weeks! Burzum aka Varg Vikernes is quite a big name in the black metal scene, though more based on his evil bad (and stupid) doings. I heard they are doing a movie about him this year called 'Lords of chaos'. They actually want to put Jackson Rathbone, known from the shitty twilight movies, in the role of Varg, lol. Decide for yourself if this is a listenable record ;)

Wolves_in_the_Throne_Room--Black_Cascade-(Southern_Lord)-Promo-2009-UKi
New Record by U.S. Black Metal sensation Wolves in the Throne Room entitled
Black Cascade has been released by Uki. Find out for yourself if it can hold up the high standarts of their critically acclaimed previous record called Two Hunters.
I personally enjoy those doom metal and ambient variations in their songs very much.
Support these guys!

Hesperus_Dimension_-_The_Cyclothymic_Panopticon-Promo-2008-FKK
No Idea what's wrong with these lazy releasegroups, don't they even look on Metal Archives what they are going to pre? It's just an EP and the Promo tag is kind of useless, too, cause it's already out in stores half a yeaer ago and most lokely there isn't any difference between the retail, but they could have at least tagged this Promo_EP.. Anyway, thanks to FKK for this otherwise valid release of a, for me previously unknown, Black Metal Band. It's really not that bad, has some good influences from other Genres, so all you open-minded BM Heads should give their MySpace a try.

Lord_Agheros-As_A_Sin-Promo-2008-AMRC
AMRC brought us some Promo's from the label 'MyKingdomMusic' this day. Other bands on MKM are for example 'Through Your Silence', 'Deinonychus' or 'Sun of Weakness'. Lord Agheros however plays a bit more quite- and peaceful, meant in a good way. 'As A Sin' is the follow-up of last years debut 'Hymn'.

VA-From_Oceans_To_Autumn-Fire_On_The_Horizon-(Split)-2008-FNT
"From Oceans To Autumn, from slow paced riffs to bone crushing rhythms, ambient interludes and beautiful melodies, From Oceans To Autumn combines experimental metal and psychedelic rock with a spaced out feeling of weightlessness and droned-out atmospheres. Fire On The Horizon return with their most epic work to date, combining trademark melody with intense rhythmic sections. Fire On The Horizon have taken their sound to the next level; adding heavier more uncompromising parts."

Swallow_The_Ocean-Swallow_The_Ocean-2008-FNT
Sorry, can't find any infos about this band, all I have is the nfo and the myspace link, but as far as I can tell, this doesn't sound bad! From the nfo:
"Here's the debut from this awesome stoner metal band. For fans of ISIS,
Mouth Of The Architect and marijuana."
As soon as I'll get a better cover, I'll replace it.

Dornenreich-In_Luft_Geritzt-PROMO-DE-2008-DEF
Normally, I don't post foreign language stuff, but Dornenreich (which could be translated to "Thornrealm" in english) from Austria aren't that lyric-leaning, and the band is quite common in Germany and Austria.
They play a mixture between Ambient and Black.
The new record isn't really that blackish (they always played kinda soft in the past).
The record-title 'In Luft geritzt' could be translated to 'scribed in the air'.
The sound of the Promo is okay, no voice-over or anything annoying, but there will also be an 2CD Ltd. Ed, out on 9. May in germany, which might be ripped.

Sghor-In_Nomine_Christi_An_Instrumental_Journey-Bootleg-2008-oNLe
Noname group -oNLe (i've never ever heared of 'em..) gave us an interesting Bootleg from polish Black-Metallers 'Sghor' today.
There are no lyrics on this record, which makes me wonder why
the release notes in the .nfo are written in polish..
This has been shared through the p2p networks some weeks ago,
now we have the scene rip of this mixture between Ambient and
Instrumental Black-Metal.
The size of this rip is about 20 mb smaller then the p2p rip, but the
sound quality is okay. According to EncSpot, the rip is scenevalid.
This isn't a must have, but if you are in the mood for such genre-mix, it's worth a listen.
