Becoming_The_Archetype-Dichotomy-2008-FNT

FNT are first again on the Retail for new Christian Metalcore band BtA. I loved the last two records, but I'm not completely sure if they can tie to those with Dichotomy. Didn't like the two new songs I've heard on their MySpace. There are two more at MS from this record, so be sure to listen to them first before buying. Produced by Devin Townsend.
"Dichotomy features guest musicians Devin Townsend on "Mountain of Souls", Ryan
Clark on Dichotomy and Suzanne Richter on Deep Heaven."

Guns_N_Roses-Chinese_Democracy-RETAIL-2008-ESC

Same average Trashtalk in -Escapes Nfo as -EGO often has, seems like they're happy they get this first in scene. There was a P2P version earlieer, that had a similar quality, but for all of you who waited for a real release, here it is. First new album after fifteen years from GnR.

Not really the kind of music I would listen to, but well, here you go, new Tankard is out.
Retail comes with a Bonus DVD. Same Street-Date as Legion.. but at least without the annoying Voice-Overs, as far as I can tell.
/edit: Think it has VO's, too. Sorry :D

One of the last unreleased big hits this year is finally available in digital audio format, thanks to QTX. Unfortunately, like the last other Massacre records releases (Sinister Promo etc.), this has VO's. Streetdate is scheduled for December, 19, so still a long wait for fans of this band. Only first 2 tracks without, so you might still enjoy those.

Behemoth-Ezkaton-(EP)-2008-FNT

New Behemoth EP with two brand-new tracks and two new coversongs, one of them from Ramones, the other from Master's Hammer. Attentive listener's might already know the first song "Chant for Esckaton 2000" from the Behemoth-At_The_Arena_Ov_Aion_Live_Apostasy-Promo-2008-GRAVEWISH release. Qadosh, the second track, could have just as well been on 'The Apostasy', lesser melodic then the First. Fan's of the last Behemoth record don't want to miss this.

Nocte_Obducta--Sequenzen_einer_Wanderung-Promo-DE-2008-UBE

Agathodaimon fans might already now some of the members from Nocte Obducta, so fan's of this band might want to give the new Nocte Obducta a try. 2 tracks on 'Sequenzen einer Wanderung' (Sequences of a peregrination) which are both really long with over 20 minutes playtime each. The tracktitles translate to 'End' and 'Mist'. In my opinion this could be enjoyable even without the lyrics, but don't expect any raw form of BM, it's mostly melodic.

Satyricon-The_Age_Of_Nero_(limited_edition)-2CD-2008-QTXMp3

Satyricon have always been a very controversal black metal band; writing many classic extreme metal hymns ( I think anyone who´s into black metal at least once has heard "mother north" ... ). But after some critical changes concerning the bands lineup and muscial style many of the bands supporters have turned away from the Norwegians.
Today, critics expect Satyricon's way of interpreting their music to be the future of the whole genre of black metal. In 2008 Satyricon refines that raw, less melodic even puristic sound they´ve turned to with their 2002 effort "volcano".
This probably makes "The Age Of Nero" a "love-or-hate" record. Decide for yourself!

The album packs a bonus cd with live material.
